SJ Collective Media applications are designed with simplicity and privacy in mind. MyKeepr is no exception.
What MyKeepr Does
MyKeepr is a personal inventory app. It helps you keep track of items in your home — what you have, how much, and where it’s stored — by scanning barcodes and entering simple details like name, category, and location.
What We Collect About You
Nothing.
MyKeepr does not require account creation, does not display ads, does not include analytics or tracking software, and does not transmit any of your data to SJ Collective Media or any third party.
Your Inventory Data
The information you enter into MyKeepr — item names, categories, locations, quantities, and barcodes — is stored locally on your iPhone. SJ Collective Media has no access to this data and no ability to retrieve it.
Camera Access
MyKeepr uses your iPhone’s camera only when you tap “Scan” to read a barcode. Barcodes are decoded entirely on your device and used to find or create matching inventory items. No photos, video, or camera data are saved or transmitted by MyKeepr.
Optional iCloud Sync
MyKeepr offers an optional iCloud Sync feature, off by default, which you can enable from the Manage screen.
When iCloud Sync is on, your inventory data is synced to your own private iCloud database using your personal Apple account. This data is governed by Apple’s iCloud terms and privacy policy, is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple, and remains inaccessible to SJ Collective Media at all times.
You can turn iCloud Sync off at any time. Doing so stops syncing but does not delete data already stored locally or in your iCloud account.
Export and Import
MyKeepr lets you export your inventory to a file and import it back. These files are created and saved by you, on your device. SJ Collective Media never receives them.
Children’s Privacy
Because MyKeepr does not collect any personal information from any user, the app is safe for users of all ages.
Information Sharing
SJ Collective Media does not sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information with third parties — because we don’t have any of it.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy is updated, the revised version will appear at the same URL with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the Info screen inside MyKeepr.
